FOSSIL DIG AND
EDUCATIONAL TOUR

In April we ventured forth into the world of the T-Rex, Triceratops and Raptor to experience the thrill of a fossil hunt first hand! As you can see from the photos below, everyone (parents and leaders included) got stuck in to the project with gusto, and after digging half way to China the girls all left with bulging bags of sharks teeth, mastodon bones and other fascinating fossils.
The tour of the Dinosaur store was fun and educational - here's a quick quiz: who can remember how to tell the difference between a Tyrannosaurus Rex and an Allosaurus? (answer is at the bottom of the page).

Answer: the T-Rex has only 2 toes on each front claw, whereas the Allosaurus has three!
