TROOP INVESTITURE

The Girl Scout Investiture and Rededication of Brownie Troop 1819 took place
on the 16th of December, 2001 at the Cocoa Library.

Mrs. Hensley, with the tireless assistance of our "adopted Frownie" (Mr. Hensley), plus Mrs. Pope, Mrs. Hindsley and our two young helpers, decorated the meeting room for the event. Thanks to all Troop Leaders and parents for the delicious refreshments!

Two returning Brownies, three girls 'flying up' from the Daisies, and four new Brownies, all solemnly recited the Girl Scout Promise, then lit their candles whilst quoting a line from the Girl Scout Law and stating what it meant to them personally.

The Troop is pictured here at the Investiture singing a special presentation of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" for their parents. This performance earned us Third Place in the Rockledge Christmas Parade, for which the girls received the medallions they are proudly wearing, and the trophy in the foreground!
