HOLIDAY PARTY

Here are some photos from the December 2003 Holiday Party that was held at Ms. Denise's mom's house.

As you can see, the afternoon started as a civilized tea party with our young ladies, dressed in their finest outfits, sipped 'champagne' and delicately nibbled on a delicious spread of assorted chocolate covered comestibles whilst being presented with their medals in honor of their 1st place float in the Cocoa/Rockledge Christmas Parade.

It was all downhill from there, however, as the party games appeared to bring out the less elegant side of the girls!

In the first game, each girl pulled a balloon from Mrs. Hensley's bag, then burst it to find a Christmas trivia question hidden inside.

If they were unable to answer the question correctly, they had to pay a forfeit. Bursting a second balloon revealed a task they would have to perform. These were such fun that even the girls who answered the questions correctly took a turn at trying one.
Forfeits included:

  • trying to stick their elbows in their ears
  • hopping around like frogs
  • singing our parade song
  • curtseying to each adult present and say "Hi, my name is Ramalamadingdong." (or something equally wacky!)
  • saying the Brownie Promise while hopping on one foot
  • hugging everyone whilst snorting like a pig
  • reciting the pledge while pulling the ugliest faces they could.
